El Fresco opens in Hybla Valley
El Fresco Tex-Mex Grill opened its fourth Northern Virginia location in the Hybla Valley section of Alexandria this month.
Sahil Mehta, franchise owner, said the new restaurant began its soft launch Jan. 19 and is wrapping up some minor work before holding a grand opening event later this winter.
The restaurant’s fresh Mexican food is already a hit with employees of the neighboring car dealerships, said Mehta, and he plans to begin a direct mail push in coming weeks. Ads for El Fresco are also on display in select bus shelters along Richmond Highway.
El Fresco’s extensive menu features all-day breakfast items, starters, burritos, quesadillas, Mexican pizza, tacos, enchiladas, salads, beverages and desserts. By downloading the restaurant’s app, first-time in-store diners can enjoy a free lunch with the purchase of a drink.
The newly remodeled interior of the building, which at one time was a Red Barn restaurant, was designed by El Fresco’s CEO Steve Ganji, said Mehta, and aligns with the restaurant’s branding. The parking lot was also repaved as part of the renovation, he said.
El Fresco has additional locations in Chantilly, Centreville and Sterling, with a future opening planned in Fairfax, according to the company’s website.
The new Hybla Valley location at 7324 Richmond Highway is open Mondays through Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and is closed Sundays.
