The Friends of Mount Vernon Trail will be improving the trail near Belle Haven Park from 10 a.m. to noon.
Volunteers may perform some of the following work:
Cutting vegetation growing into the trail
Hauling away vegetation and fallen tree branches
Picking up trash
Directing trail users through a detour around trail bump removal work
What to Bring:
Water
Gloves (We’ll have some to borrow)
Long sleeves and long pants
Where to Meet:
The work area is in Belle Haven Park. We’ll meet near the benches near the trail. See the image below for the meeting location.

We follow current CDC guidance
Work will be performed outside with room to socially distance
