The South County Federation invites you to take part in our virtual candidate roll call this Wednesday at 7pm. to get acquainted with candidates running for local office. Candidates will introduce themselves, what position they are seeking, and their thoughts on the following issues important to the area:
– Transportation (Highways, roads, trains, metro, etc)
– Public Safety (Police, Fire, EMT, Medical services, Fort Belvoir)
– Land Use (Developments and planning)
– Parks and Environment (county and state parks, Covanta, Landfills, living shore lines)
– Education (local schools)
The roll call will be open to the public, but we will not be allowing questions unless absolutely necessary.
