Join the Fort Hunt Softball Club, Fairfax County officials and the family of a true champion of Fort Hunt Softball, the late Dave Evans, in dedicating the field known to many as Walt Whitman 1 in Dave's memory.

Dave was instrumental in efforts to light the field at Whitman, laid the groundwork for the improvements to field 2 and did so much more.

Please, plan on joining us at Walt Whitman Middle School Field 1 on the 13th of May. The ceremony will start at 12:00. Come early and watch a game, link up with old friends, and help us remember Dave in the best way Fort Hunt Softball can - having a great day on the field he cared so much about.
