ART+WINE+CHEESE Opening at Nepenthe Gallery:  Featuring Artist Kimberly Yourick!

Nepenthe Gallery welcomes Kimberly Yourick – a painter who explores color and texture; “with my work, I attempt to capture a moment in time, particularly in nature, when we experience an overwhelming sense of color, gesture, distance, and mood that is not easily described in words. This would be an emotional moment when one is touched by visual beauty that a camera cannot capture.”

Kim received her BFA from Washington University. She is primarily a contemporary landscape oil painter, who works in plein air and has exhibited in many local, national and international exhibitions including The London Paint Club in the UK and The Delaplane Art Center National Juried Exhibition. Kim also teaches painting and drawing at the Yellow Barn Studio in Glen Echo, MD and is an associate artist at Riverworks Art Center in Beallsville, MD.
