Charleys Philly Steaks, an Ohio-based restaurant chain specializing in cheesesteaks, gourmet fries, real-fruit lemonades and other fare, has signed a lease at Kings Crossing, a representative from Rosenthal Properties has confirmed.
The restaurant, which is still under construction, is slated to occupy the storefront at 6307-F Richmond Highway, a 1,768-square-foot space between MyEyeDr. and Panda Express. The site was previously occupied by a sweetFrog.
Charleys, which claims to be the largest cheesesteak franchise in the world, has over 700 global locations, including at Fort Belvoir and Springfield Town Center.
With the arrival of Charleys, the shopping center at Kings Crossing will be nearly fully leased; Rosenthal presently has one remaining 1,100-square-foot space available, according to its marketing flyer.
The restaurant does not yet have a projected opening date, according to Rosenthal.
