Panda Express opens at Fort Belvoir

The restaurant, specializing in American Chinese cuisine, is located in the Main Exchange food court.

Panda Express, a fast food restaurant chain specializing in American Chinese cuisine, opened April 6 at the Fort Belvoir Main Exchange food court.

The eatery, which had been under construction since early last year, is located in a space formerly occupied by Boston Market. The restaurant is operated by ELPX Restaurant Group, a licensed franchisee of Panda Express, which primarily runs businesses on military installations and in airports.

Fort Belvoir Garrison Command leaders joined representatives of the Exchange and Panda Express for a ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration April 12. 

According to Army and Air Force Exchange Service regulations, visitors to military installations are authorized to purchase all foods and beverages sold at Exchange locations – with the exception of alcoholic beverages – if consumed on post.

Panda Express is located at 8651 John J. Kingman, building 2321. Its hours are Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sundays 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
