Construction workers remove letters from the Wendy's sign at 8700 Richmond Highway.
The Wendy's restaurant located at Woodlawn Shopping Center closed in late October for a refresh, according to a company representative at Wendy's Dublin, Ohio-based headquarters.
The renovation project does not involve a full remodel, the representative told property manager Woodmont Properties, so only the exterior of the restaurant will appear updated. Construction workers were recently seen removing the signage from the building's facade and performing some work inside.
The store, located at 8700 Richmond Highway, is slated to reopen Jan. 10, 2024.
Another Wendy's, which features a modern design concept, opened at Beacon Center at 6636 Richmond Highway earlier this year.
