The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT)’s Northern Virginia Paving Program improves hundreds of miles of roads in Fairfax County every year. VDOT and the Fairfax County Department of Transportation FCDOT) use this program as an opportunity to increase driver, bicyclist and pedestrian safety with road and crosswalk improvements while minimizing the financial investment in restriping work. The community is invited to provide striping-related feedback by attending a virtual public meeting and/or by submitting comments online.
